I've never watched Startrek Enterprise before, but I realised the other day that at some point (likely several years ago) I bought the first 3 seasons on DVD. I started watching some today

Hehe! He's growing on me, but he's not my type. ;) Actually quite liking the line they're traipsing between original and new startrek. I bet they annoyed everyone with it though and that's why it didn't go as long as the other series.
I wish they'd start a new one. Watching DS9 got me through some stuff as a kid. And my whole family used to watch Generations when we were living in Holland. It was one of the few English shows we all seemed to like. *sigh*
I really enjoyed the series. Voyager is my favorite of all the Star Trek series, followed by Enterprise. Even encumbered as it was with the stupid premise of being set in the past it managed to be a good series, but they did every cheat in the book to bring them up to present day technology and keep the show interesting. I'm not sure why they couldn't have set it in the same time as Deep Dish Nine, but I enjoyed it tremendously and it only kept getting better each season. Happy watching.
Thanks! I'm actually quite enjoying it, but I can see how the line they are traipsing between new and original startrek would have many up in arms. I think when it was on TV I was very busy and just never got to it. I'll look forward to it getting even better. :D
I quietly loved DS9 and watched it religiously before I had internet access to put me in contact with other like-mnded geeks. By the time Voyager was on, I still didn't have internet, but I had crazy friends with "contacts" at the video store, so we got to watch it as it came out on video. Some of the girls regularly threw popcorn at characters they disliked. Good times! :)
the opening theme only shows American achievements in flight and space travel? Why not stick some Russian, Japanese, British etc. achievements in there? It's so very small-minded given what Startrek is all about.
Ah, Enterprise - I loved that show and/or the fact it was my first online fandom. :D Hoshi and naturally Porthos were my favourites. One day I will finish my epic fan fic series. :P
As for the opening, even Star Trek writers forget about the rest of the globe some time. :P

I'm enjoying it in that way you enjoy a show when you have all the eps and just watch several in a row. :)
