Forever

I've fallen in love with the new show Forever with Ioan Gruffudd looking and sounding more gorgeous than ever. Actually, I could listen to him read a phone book. Mmmm.
Can anyone tell me if there's an LJ community yet? I need one! Stat!

(I just purchased Hornblower on DVD as I need to watch it again suddenly. Ha!)

forever, help

I haven't heard of "Forever" but I love Hornblower :D
I'm currently enthralled with "Chicago Fire", not sure if it's firemen, or my uniform!kink that's keeping me watching, either way, I'm more than happy to keep viewing these hotties ;)

Oh yes, I hear ya. I watched all of S1 of Chicago Fire in the off-season, but I haven't watched S2 yet and they're on to S3 already.

Ioan Gruffudd plays the main character in Forever and he's pretty much a mix of Holmes and Watson - Sherlock Holmes deductive skills mixed with John Watson's medical skills and kindness... oh and he can't die, so he's trying to figure out why. It's lovely! Lovely! And I'm already addicted. I need more episodes.

If you like Sherlock Holmes-style shows, then you'll likely love this. I'm really enjoying it.

Ahk! ME TOO! LOVE LOVE LOVE this SHOW!

Seen all of Hornblower ages ago, but it is certainly worth rewatching.

But yeah, my son and I are totally hooked on Ioan's new show. I hope it picks up a good audience or it won't last. Every episode just makes us smile, the dynamic between he and Abe (Judd Hirsch, whom I've ALWAYS adored...) is just so endearing. Ugh.. really good show and not a bunch of bad language and uncomfortable nudity to deal with while watching with the 17 year old, and STILL it manages to captivate.

I'm not over-the-moon with Chicago Fire. My oldest son is a fireman in Austin, Texas, btw. But the show just doesn't really get me in the feels. I tried for a season. I honestly tried.

I love it. Considering Elementary is very popular, I'm hoping this too can pick up a good audience and stay. *nods* *crosses fingers*

I hear you on CF. I wouldn't normally enjoy such a show, but I watched it all in a row, with no ads when I wasn't feeling well and when watched that way, it was quite enjoyable. I did the same with the first couple of seasons of H50 and haven't watched it much since. LOL
