I was watching 7th Heaven the other day

Don't judge, I was rocking a restless baby and it was one of the better day-time TV options. Thing was, I almost woke the baby up again with my many repeated exclamations of "OMG!" Because in the one episode were very young versions of (Cast list to prove itTyler Hoechlin - my current TV boyfriend - I jest of course (i.e. Derek Hale in Teen Wolf

But I'm also interested to know that you saw so many baby actors there.

(7th Heaven drove me mad for so many reasons, but one was the question of how much pastors in America are meant to be paid. They can seriously raise families of seven children dressed in fashionable clothes in beautiful houses? I'm in the wrong country!)

Actually the episode had a lot of comments on how they couldn't afford everything on a tight budget and the plot was around a second hand jacket one of the kids was wearing. The moral of the episode seemed to be "be grateful for all you have because some people are struggling just to get food on the table". I rarely watched the show when it was on so maybe that wasn't mentioned too often. Dunno.

I would have recommended contraception at an earlier point in the family's life.

But I didn't watch it much either; maybe they were more realistic than the few episodes I saw.
