AHBL Convention - Jared
I went to the All Hell Breaks Loose, Supernatural Convention on Saturday and it was masses of fun. I hung out with my buddies rinkle, derry667, yokiem, mcalex22 and kaaatie and together we joked, ate, got pictures taken, watched attractive SPN stars talk and generally had a good time. :)
I'm not really a report kinda gal, what with having the world's worst memory, but I figure I'll stick a few pretty pictures below the cut and ramble a teeny bit and you can choose to read or just look at the pretty or whatever. So, starting out of order with Jared, because I happen to be a Jared and/or Sam fan...

Jared was the second Q and A session, but he's my favourite, so he goes first. :)
Jared, being Jared, went straight for the big bag of Fantales (Australian lollies that are chewy caramel coated in chocolate) despite the warnings of the host that he wouldn't be able to talk if he tried to eat one (They are really chewy!). He then read out the Fantale questions to the audience, discovered that he indeed couldn't talk very well while chewing them and yet continued to eat them throughout the Q and A anyway. He kept turning about to pick it out of his teeth and, if an audience member started to ask a long-winded question, he'd put his hand up for them to stop, open a fantale with great ceremony, pop it in his mouth and then tell the person he was ready for their long question. *G*
The host also commented that there were TimTams (chocolate biscuits) in the green room to which Jared replied that he'd already finished those earlier in the morning. :)
All three guys were pretty jet-lagged, but it only seemed to make Jared all the more giggly and fun!
I found it interesting that Jared would like the show to end with the two brothers pitted against each other, while when Jensen was asked the same question he said he'd prefer they went out sort of driving off into the sunset, still fighting together. I'll be interested to see if either of them get their wish.
They had an auction to raise money for the Starlight Foundation, an Australian charity that raises money to grant wishes to seriously ill children. Basically at the end of the Q & A Jared was given a white shirt to scribble on and meanwhile people bid for it. Jared decided to put his on and then draw on it, so it was quite amusing to see him trying to stretch it out to draw, while still wearing it.
The winning bid was about $1100. And I think she negotiated for the sharpie he was sucking on while drawing and for Jared to sign it for her.
Again, please credit mcalex22 if you nab the pretty photos. They're all hers. My camera is completely crap-tastic inside.
And that's Jared. I'll put up a Misha and Jensen post on the weekend, but I need to sleep now.
