I don't watch this show but your pretty picspams make me want to. I really want to ship Eric/Sookie and I have no clue who they are. <3 As for the gifs, they look great.
You should! It's kind of cracky but it's so much fun! It's by Alan Ball who wrote American Beauty and created Six Feet Under. The crackyness mostly comes from the fact that it's based on these silly Vampire novels (lol that I'm now sadly addicted to!)
I kind of shipped Eric/Sookie before I knew who they were too! haha, I just heard so much about them from my flist before I started watching/reading the books!
You're great at convincing, you know? I'm going to start watching Chuck in a few days and then I'll start with this show(or maybe I'll start TB first). If the guy who created Six Feet Under created it, then it has to be good.
YAY, SUCCESS! I can't wait to hear what you think!
Oh and just to give you a bit of warning, Eric is barely in season 1. He has a few scenes in like 4 of the episodes but that's it. It isn't until season 2 that he becomes a main character that has tons of screen time in every episode. lol, I'm telling you just in case you start wondering where the heck he is when you start watching!
It's the same in the books if you ever read them. He's only in 2 chapters of book 1 and then from book 2 onwards he kind of takes over!
I'm not sure when it happened, but I completely love Eric now! It's like I just had an epiphany and was like OH HAI, HOW DID I NOT SEE HOW AWESOME YOU ARE?! And I'm definitely starting to ship Eric/Sookie now too. Love the picspam!
haha because this is when he starts to become awesome! It happens in the same way in the books. All of a sudden in the middle of book 2 I was like "OH MY GOD, CAN HE BE AROUND ALWAYS?!"
I really don't get it either. Maybe he just means that he likes their relationship on the show thus far? Because that would be fair. I mean, the audience is supposed to like Bill/Sookie now so naturally he would want to promote that. But hopefully by the end of s2/early s3 there will be a bit of a shift towards Eric?
OH. MY. GOODNESS. This was just lovely. :) To be honest, I pretty much erupted in a fit of giggles whenever Eric spoke in this episode (don't ask me why). For some reason, I found that Sookie was just being absurd when she found out about the whole Lafayette situation. But maybe that simply has to do with the fact that I don't like Anna. Anyway, I loved that we finally got some Eric/Sookie interaction. It was long-overdue, in my opinion. Alex was amazing, as usual. I really loved his reaction when "Sookie" slapped him. That was beyond hilarious. If you ask me, he enjoyed himself quite a bit.
I think Sookie just seemed extreme to us because we "know" Eric and she really doesn't at this point (plus she doesn't know that much about how Vampires operate yet either). But if I were her I'd probably go nuts too if I found my friend chained in my other "friend's" basement, lol!
Yup, I think Eric was having a great time (even including the slap). ha! And he's already hitting on her!
I love this SO much! I also love the quotes added from the books. I think as more ES interaction happens more and more people will fall in love with ES, like we did in the books. :)
I'm seeing so many Eric/Sookie converts already just from their interaction in this one episode! I can't even imagine the fandom at the end of s2! (especially if their first kiss + Eric going with her to the orgy are included! Those are the best parts of book 2 so I hope they are!)

Everyone talks about how Alan Ball really likes Bill/Sookie and I JUST DON'T GET IT. Eric is about 4000x hotter.
