Okay, so there were a few reasons I joined Facebook.

The first being a futile attempt to stop the flood of email messages from Facebook telling me everyones' cat and dog have joined.

I'm already seeing a cliff-drop in friends email. I think the rash of friends invite have ended for me.

Like i had expected, it's the whole friendster phenomenon over again. a passing fad that dies quickly

And I agree with everyone of your outlined items. I too will keep the account but won't be doing much with it here on out.
