These are gorgeous! Your Castiel likeness is spot-on, and you make it look so effortless!! I love the trenchcoat and the shading--what an awesome effect in the second one! And the first one...God, your use of color and texture, it hits me hard every single time. His glowing fingertips are especially well-done. It's so great to see more work from you, always!
Just look at how your pictures make me abuse question marks!!!
LOL thanks for your wonderful comments! And sorry for the switch; I realized after I posted that I had them reversed from the story... It's been a long day... :\
Mmm, these are so gorgeous, I just wanna wallow, and you know I haven't had any real affection for Castiel in a long, long time. So, that's saying a lot! :P
It's at times like these when I wish I had the technical knowledge to compliment artists properly.
Alas, I can only gush about how utterly beautiful these are. The lovely shading of the first illustration, the adorable scowl on Castiel's face. I especially like the "old paper" feeling of the background. Gah. I lack words.
The lighting in the second illustration is just beautiful. You've really captured Castiel and, as someone else said, you made it look effortless!
Thank you for your wonderful comments! The shading of the first illustration got a bit destroyed by my scanner; I still have to go back and digitally fix that one...
Ugh, my scanner... I guess it's a little too good at picking up the paper contours or something. I gotta go back and digitally fix that picture on the weekend.
Can't you change the settings ? I bought a new big Canon scanner in august and the first tries were just awful. After changing the configuration (sometimes it's different for each drawing), it was far better ^^ Good luck on your future creations ♥

It may be a detail but I love the light around Castiel's hand, as if it was on fire. The effect is amazing =)
Bad scanners are evil..I know what I am talking about :(
Keep up the good work ♥
