One Word Challenge, Part Seven: "Shine"

There's a few dilemmas that come with the word "Shine".

First, this is the last word I have in the backlog of words for this project/meme, so when this one is done I am counting on YOU to give me a new word so I can keep going. The concept doesn't work if I just pluck some word at random out of the dictionary

If so inclined, the word "monochrome" was tossed out in my journal as a writing prompt earlier in the month. You've still got time to tackle that one. ;)
