Hmm just finished a book by Dewey Gram, 'The Life of David Gale'. It was based on a motion picture screenplay (in short, a movie), and whoa, it's sure a powerful plot. I was totally absorbed in the book, even though there wasn't a tiniest trace of romance in it (something I usually demand in a novel). It's good, what can I say? I was totally bowled

ahhhh have you seen the movie? it's amazing. i didn't even know they'd turned it into a book -- i must check that out!

but yeah, I loved the movie so much that I ran out the next day and bought it on dvd. Kevin Spacey and Laura Linney were amazing in it.. and at the end I was like "Holy crap! That's brilliant!"
