So with the introduction of the new big patch, I have been working on a couple talent trees for my mage, Solstrom. I've been trying to figure out how to increase his damage, something that is critical in big dungeon fights. While I prefer frost to anything else, I may have to go to Arcane, or my own idea of a semi-frostfire spec. I don't know what

The Frostfire and the Firefrost reminds me a few metamagic feats in D&D that lets you change the element on an elemental type spell (like fireball turning into iceball ) or does two types of element damage (like fireball spell that does both fire and ice damage).

Well, there is one spell called a Frostfire Bolt. It's normally listed under the fire section for the abilities the mage can learn, but it does both frost and fire damage. It's one of my favorite abilities.
