Oh, cool. I love the idea that the people Sam and Dean meet become hunters because they can't ignore the supernatural once they know it's out there, and I especially like stories about Kat from Asylum, because she seemed like she could kick ass if given the opportunity.

Thank you! I agree- I'm sure that while some of the people Sam and Dean save are able to go back to the 'normal' life, there are some (particularly the younger ones) who aren't able to forget it and decide to take a more active role. And Kat seemed like one who'd take up hunting.

Yeah, I wrote part in the summer, intending for it to be a fairly short piece, but it ended up... a lot longer. *g* So I decided to wait until I finished the whole story and post it all together.
