When stevemb & I got home after spending New Year's Eve with friends, we discovered that Satin (in icon) had had a stroke. She was unresponsive, with back arched and paws moving randomly ( Read more... )

What a horrible surprise to come home to...and a sucky way to start the New Year. Hugs and deepest sympathies to you both on your loss; I remember Satin fondly, and Py and Kami as well. May they all play together free of pain in the catnip patch of the Elysian Fields for eternity.

Ironically, she lived a much longer life than her 2 comrades who had better starts.
