Goodbye America

May 27, 2011 09:57

After living here for almost a year it's already time for me to say goodbye. I lived for a semester in Knoxville, had an amazing winter break, with the help of  cess525 (Brentz) and her family! One that I won't forget for a long time, if ever, and then I moved on to Atlanta.

I expected to have a quiet, nice and easy semester here in Atlanta while doing my ( Read more... )

Seriously, there have to be vampires in that hospital seeing how much blood I had to give for tests!

I know so sad I didn't get to meet you. Around Christmas time I was broke and couldn't meet you and after I started the internship everything got crazy and I didn't have the time. So unfair! :(
But I'll be back to haunt you and we'll go to a convention or so together. :) We'll meet one day for sure!

As for vampires. Yes. I thought I was getting anemic after a while...which was also true *blushes* They stopped being vampires after that!

You really had an eventful year, didn't you? But how amazing that you had this opportunity! Enjoy your time back home with your family.

It was eventful, but because of that it was over before I knew it! So sad in a way! It's amazing that I got this opportunity to do this and I thank my parents every day for letting me go and being supportive(also financial)! without them I wouldn't have been able to do it!

So sad indeed :( but you know...I'll be back...next time for a vacation so I can actually travel a bit more! I didn't had the opportunity to do that now!
I'm sure I'll see you on FB and I'm thinking about restarting the story that I was writing before you got the job so I'm probably gonna ask you to be my beta again!

One day we'll meet. I'm sure of that. :)

Reading all that about your illness makes me go cold. Just the thought of what you had to go through when so far away from home. But your colleagues sound like they were truly amazing and I'm so glad that they were all there for you.

Glad you've had an amazing and life-expanding experience, which will stay with you forever. Safe journey back home on Monday! *huggles*

I actually didn't realize any of it till I was better. After that it's like someone is hitting you on the head and making you realize what you've been through. During the time I just wanted to be strong...too much happened in those few months. In here I left out the whole fact that my dog died, but that is still hurting me. I think I can't properly mourn her till I'm home and don't see her. ;)

Still my colleagues are amazing people. It was a true honor working with them!

Thanks - I hope everything goes according to plan!

What an experience you had! I've only known you for the time you were in America, but I can see what an amazing, and maybe a bit terrifying in February/March, but mostly fantastic journey it was for you! Leaving somewhere is never easy, especially after everything you lived. But you'll be able to stay in touch. You'll have contacts and you can come visit them anytime from now on. :) Everything you lived will never be forgotten and you have grown so much with the experience! (Including learning how to be sick in another country. ;P)

I'm sure your family can't wait to see you again! Have a safe trip home! Next time you're in America, maybe RL will allow me to cross the border and meet you. I'd love that! :)

Yeah...life is interesting, it's continuously testing you and you can never let your guard down. :P It was difficult and it makes me doubt if I really want to go back here to live since it is far FAR! away from my family and friends!

I hope they won't forget me, but we'll see. Some people are good with staying in touch...others aren't.

Thank you for the save travels...perhaps in the future we will meet :)

You'll see what you want to do! :) No need to rush anything. For now, enjoy going back to your family and friends. And if you ever come back here, it'll be because life wanted that for you. ;)

I'm sure those who really want to stay in touch will. :)
