When typos amuse

It always amuses me when I'm writing a story and mistype "gunfire" as "funfire." It makes really amusing sentences like: and then a hail of funfire rained down from above!

What would funfire look like?

I imagined something like this:

I work for the news department in our office, and my mind instantly thought, 'Oh baby's face! Blur immediately!' And then I saw that baby was biting a very disgruntled cat's tail, and my mind sort of just stopped. WHAT IS THIS.

Funfire looks lovely, though, although probably lethal in different ways from gunfire. XD

lol when I first saw the baby picture I was scrolling down on a small screen, and I thought, "What is happening here?" at first as well, until I saw the cat tail.

That's funny how your mind automatically jumped to blurring the baby's face.

Hee, at least they're both cute, although I don't know if the cat is enjoying itself. XDD

Minors aren't usually allowed to appear on TV, so we need to blur their faces before the videos air. One time, I was walking with my editor to the cafeteria and I saw a couple of kids walking by, my brain just went on autopilot and blurred them in my mind. >.> When I told this to my editor, he said I needed to take a break from work. :P

The 2nd and 3rd pics are beautiful! TV shows need more funfire.

It's possible LJ crashed on you, it tends to do that a lot these days.

I didn't make it but I like it very much.

Ohhh the mystery of funfire, solved! Thank you for the insight! I saw the bawdy humor one on google image search the first time I tried searching for funfire, but then I didn't see it the second time-- so it might have gotten bumped down further on the pages.

But your funfire looks very gay. (And yes, you can apply both meanings of the word here, XD.)

LOL that made me laugh XD
