I've decided where I want my wedding ceremony and reception. A place that sounds utterly divine. I want my wedding to be set in a garden area with violins playing classical music, on a sunny breezy floridian day. It sounds perfect to me. Awww thank you! :D I just have to see if my family will go for the idea or not, they want me to have a "traditional" wedding. Hopefully I can do the ceremony and reception where I want it! $7,000 is cheap for a wedding , you did great! :D

Wow that's a lot! I don't think Coralie and I can spend that much on our wedding. We talked about it some yesterday hehehe.

Yeh the standard amount for a wedding is very expensive, my wedding will be pretty cheap in comparison, but the money sure adds up very quickly!

I absolutely adore The Strawberry Mansion! It is supposedly haunted, but I've never seen a thing during my adventures.

What does the inside/outside look like? I've never been fortunate enough to go :(, hence why I really want to get married there. And I heard it's haunted too! That scares me a little. I don't want to be alone anywhere in there haha.

I'm surprised you've never seen it; it's right by Downtown Melbourne (in that little area where that old coffee shop used to be, right before you get to that causeway thing). It's a beautiful two-story building of pink and red (it used to be a house actually) completely enveloped in draping trees and shrubbery. It's quite lovely.

I've gone past it loads of times, it really is pretty! I love Victorian style houses! Have you ever seen the garden courtyard? They have some pix on their site, but I wanted to know what you've thought of it since you've been there.
