I love the picture with you and the horse. I especially love your Coach patchwork tote and toggle jacket! You have such fantastic taste, Alex. Your idea about the martini, broadway show, audition and shopping trip wasn't so bad!
Funniest thing, and this does make me seem like a stalker...the place where I work sells our bags to about 60 stores down the East coast and there was a woman from New Jersey who joked that she and her husband came all the way back to Portsmouth to come to the store because the one that sells Anna Street products near her didn't have a big enough selection - since I'm nosy I asked where she was from and she said Tinton Falls! Of course I thought of you. She said 'I want to open up a store just for your stuff in Red Bank - It's a super trendy area and these bags would fly off the shelves!' Pretty funny, such a small world :)
That's so funny! I almost went to Red Bank this morning but ending up doing work instead. It is a trendy area - and Tinton Falls is a bordering city and was where I could afford...
I saw you also mentioned the brand you work for in your 101...what is it? What do you do? Do you have a site I can look at?
And this is off topic and I might post this in my lj too, but there is a jewelry designer someone told me about that I like and you might too - tarinatarantino.com Someone told me about the site since they liked the layout (and I do too - it's fun and non-flash - sorta nice to see what people do with graphics and rollovers!) and then I liked the jewelrey, headbands and handbags too! They also have dog necklaces!!
The Coach bag was from Dave at Christmas. The white toggle jacket - Banana Republic. Thanks!!!
I work for a brand called Anna Street Studio based out of Portsmouth N.H. (which is also a somewhat trendy/seaside area). We also have stores in Portland, ME and Hingham, MA. The website is annastreet.com but has hardly anything on it right now. I know Nick (the owner's husband) is working to update it so it should be full of goodies in a week or two.
I'm going to check out the link you posted now; I love accessories! I'm also a fan of Peggy Li (peggyli.com). I discovered her when I lived by San Franciso and her pieces are handmade, gorgeous, and very reasonably priced!
and one other thing...isn't Tarina Tarantino the one who paired up with Hello Kitty and did a collection a year or two ago? I think I remember seeing it and really liking it when I was in NYC.
