I have always loved the idea of Faith and Oz together, one of these days I think that I am going to actually sit down and write a decent fic about the two of them together instead of these random encounters that I am always seeming to write. Anyhow onto the fic....

A prickling sense of unease ran along her neck causing Faith to pull out her stake as she turned around to see where the danger was. Her grip tightened on the sharpened piece of wood as she completed the 360-degree turn. One could never be too careful in Sunnydale, especially now since she had started working for the Mayor.
”Well, well if it isn’t Willow’s pet werewolf,” Faith drawled with a smirk as she turned to face Oz.
“Nice to see you too, Faith,” Oz calmly replied.
“Ever wonder what it’d be like between us?” Faith purred as she ran the stake along the curve of his cheek.
“No really,” Oz replied as he effortlessly grabbed the stake from her.
“Liar.”
”You’re not my type.”
”Oh that’s right, you like the shy shrinking violet types, don’t you?”
”Something like that.”
”What do you want then,” Faith said, dropping the seductive routine.
”Nothing.”
”Then what are you doing here?”
”Going home, my van’s in the shop.”
”You expect me to believe that?” Faith asked in disbelief.
“It’s the truth. Believe what you want,” Oz said as he dropped her stake to the ground.
”Get outta here, ya big mutt,” Faith snarled.
As the werewolf walked away from her, Faith felt the hairs on the back of her neck stop standing up. The sixth sense that had alerted to her danger in the form of monsters always seemed to overreact whenever Oz was around her. Instead of the normal temporary prickling she’d feel around vampires and other demons, around Oz it seemed to go into overdrive as if there was a pack of werewolves instead of just a lone wolf. It always made her extremely jumpy and tense, and it made her hard to focus on anything but him. She shook her head as if to clear it, she couldn’t afford any mistakes, especially right now when she was on a job for the Mayor.
