It's Halloween!

And I'm still waiting to pop. Which makes me sad every time I go to the grocery store and walk past the aisles of bagged candy, orange frosted cupcakes, cookies, and festive pumpkin pies ( Read more... )

Hurry up and pop that baby! I wanna see pictures!

(not forgotten about his gift, either. Life has just been a cow lately and I've not had time to send it. I hope he likes books.)

And Hocus Pocus is always my Halloween tradition, in addition to The Nightmare Before Christmas. Something about Bette Midler screaming "BOOOOOOOK! Come home!" just makes the holiday for me. Hysterically bad acting, in that really good hammy way, ya know?

Books are great!

Hocus Pocus was on TV the other night, so I already watched it. I love that one, too though! Normally, Halloween is one of my least favorite holidays. But I'm kinda loving it for some reason this year. :)

Women in my due date community are starting to have their babies. And it's killing me seeing photos of their babies while mine is still just a squirmy bump. I want to meet this baby! lol!

I have lots of Braxton Hicks contractions. I was going in to the hospital for non-stress tests for a while and was surprised how many showed up on their monitors. Most of the time I don't notice them, so I don't know if they're what's making me so uncomfortable at night or if it's just the weight of my belly plus the baby being so low that makes lying down for a long time uncomfortable.

I hope I'm able to recognize it when I really DO go into labor after so many false alarms, lol.

I haven't mentioned his name here yet. But we do have one picked out. :)

yeah, the last couple of weeks are always tough. I used to go to bed early but always get up at 11pm when the baby started kicking. Relax and enjoy the remaining time left though. You'll want to be rested once the baby comes

I figure the restless nights and daytime naps are kind of training for what's to come. :)

I'm glad that I'm comfortable during the day at least so that I can enjoy these last few weeks. I'm going to miss feeling his squirms and kicks.

Im thinking of you and hope everything goes as smooth as it can. I have no birthing experience but I read each of your posts and pray that you and baby are healthy.
I'm also glad your kitty is doing good right now. Take care and keep us posted
