SO up until recently I felt gipped (sp?). I moved to Ohio, excited as anything that I would finally get snow and winter and everything else that the north had to offer. Skiing? In Ohio? M'dear, perhaps you need to check your geography. Skiing (at least downhill skiing) requires changes in elevation. That's not likely to happen in Ohio (aka The Land of Flat).

lol.. theres a couple of skiing places here (not that difficult but much better than cross country)... It'll give me practice for the next time i'm in Alaska :-).
