Crappy crappy news :-(

Feeling so depressed right now having read earlier that it was unlikely that Toyota are going to re-sign Jarno for next year and now have just read this www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/77894 it's just confirmed my worst fear that Jarno won't be in F1 next year. I just feel so sad and angry. I can't imagine F1 without him, he's been my fave ( Read more... )

*hugs you* I can totally feel with you. And he really deserved better. But who knows, maybe one of the new teams will want him for his expeerience?

Aww thanks :)

Yeah he really did. That's a possibility, but honestly as much as I'd love to still see him in F1 next year, I think I'd rather him not be there at all if it meant he could only be in a crappy team with no prospects. I think it's so sad when good drivers end a long career in an awful team with no good results :(
I just wish he'd got that damn first win for Toyota in Bahrain *cries*

Yeah you never know what might happen but I can't see him at another team, but then it looks like maybe Toyota's place isn't secure anyway so we'll see but I really don't want him as you say a driver just making up the numbers, that'd be awful :(

I know how you feel, that's the problem when your fave driver goes, it's not the same without them. I just think the whole Ferrari situation at the moment is a big mess, 3 drivers for 2 cars is never going to work out well for them even if they do manage to get rid of Kimi :S

When I heard it on our TV for the first time I couldn´t believe it. But as one of the commentators used to work for McLaren PR his infos are usually accurate. And now reading it all over. I dunno, F1 without Jarno is not F1 for me anymore. I mean I´m fed up with all the kids that are there now and watching F1 is not so exciting anymore.....

Yeah exactly for me too F1 will never be the same without Jarno, I know, for example, there will still be Timo and Nando but they're just not the same for me *pouts*

I've been dreading this happening for ages but I hoped he still had a bit longer but well you never know what happens next year but I'm not hopeful.

Hey, we chattered around just a lil in 2009 when I read your Jarno/Timo ficlet. I didn't think you were as big a Jarno fan as me. I'm positive that at the time you wrote this LJ entry, I felt just the same. I miss Jarno, and when he left, I gave up on F1 entirely. Also some shit with that bastard sutil. Remember that? He bothered Jarno and he caused that stupid crash and he literally put his hands on Jarno, then when he basically defended himself he got a how-many-dollar fine for being "agressive" or something. Geez. I miss old formula 1 days. T_T
