Allright, I finally got my parents to watch Iron Man. The Bad thing: since my Dad doesn't know any English, we had to watch the synchronised German Version

It is defiantly there. It's in both the bootlegged version I downloaded and I saw it in the theater release yet is missing from the trailer and the "preview" screening. I believe it was added in post-production once they had decided on the sequel.

Did you stay till after the credits to see Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury talk to Tony about forming the Avengers?

Yeah, I did. I wanted to get my parents to ask me what he means with Avengers Initiative. But translated the name just sucks. In German 'Avenger' is translated as 'Rächer', and that name just doesn't stick as much to your Memory. Oh why couldn't they have let him say Avengers...

that's weird because I didn't think to look for it the first time but I was the 2nd time around and didn't see it in that scene at all.
