Even though the homestead missions were kind of boring I think it actually helped to increase the impact of John's death, in sort of giving a glimpse of normality in his life but then pulling it out from under him.
As bloody annoying as Jack is, I kind of liked the ambiguity at the end too... after all of John's efforts to redeem himself and save his family, you're left wondering if Jack is headed down the same path. Pretty much what you said, I guess. :P I just hope there isn't a sequel, don't know if I could put up with a full game of that whiny prat!
Totally agree! The homestead missions were a big part of what made the ending so poignant.
Did you ever play Red Dead Revolver on PS2? Red Dead Revolver and Redemption don't have anything to do with each other, except that they're both Western games. So I'm hoping that they do make another Red Dead game, but with a totally different set of locations and characters. :3 Definitely NO NO NO to Red Dead Redemption 2 starring Jack. :P
The commercial certainly is epic. But what is its message? Every American who revolted against the British was an assassin? I'm not sure that's a very flattering way to frame it...
Could be! But the way I saw it was that everyone who took a stand were in good company, as they had master assassin Connor on their side. If Connor had really existed, I bet the war would've been over a lot quicker!
Pegi 18 is a company?? I thought it was the rating system for games over in Europe, saying that the game should only be played by those over 18 or something.
*googles* Oh wow, you're right! Haha, all this time I thought it was the name of a company. I'm not much of a gamer, mostly I just watch trailers and play-throughs. :P
I had no idea that Fall Out Boy had broken up... But I'm really glad that they're back together. I love all kinds of music (you'll rarely hear me say something negative about ANY song or artist), but FOB has always held a special place in my heart.
