Dental shiz/ The Dude abides/ Poppy Z Brite

Not much to say, but I guess I should update this thing at least once a week, right? I've been keeping a diary in some form or other since I started first grade, and I like looking back on my old entries. (Well, a lot of them make me cringe, but the nice ones really are nice.)

RooG LOVES his Utilikilt and wears it at every chance he gets.

Poppy comments on my LJ fairly regularly. In fact, I'm pretty sure he's responded to your comments a few times.

Yeah. They are great.

Exquisite Corpse is by far the best.

My teeth are usually sensitive for about 1 month after a filling. Though, I did have a filling that was done incorrectly by a crappy dentist, and it had to be removed by my current dentist, and I received a special "desensitizing" filling in its place because the first dentist had caused slight damage to a nerve.

I grind my teeth in my sleep, too, but I never realized. My dentist figured it out by looking at my tooth surfaces. He said it would probably go away, but I still need my night guard, 9 years later. If I don't wear it, I wake up with sore teeth and a headache. I have no idea how I didn't notice how much my head and teeth hurt before.

Thanks for the info! I'll keep waiting then. :)

RooG was the one that told me I was grinding my teeth. Otherwise I probably would have never figured it out... I would sometimes have tighteness/ pain in my jaws in the morning, but I never put two and two together. D:

Re: poppy z brite news

WAT?!?!

Also one of my favourite authors back when I was a teenager, due to my sister's influence. Guess I better educate myself, too. Thanks, Wikipedia! :S

Hm, everyone says "Exquisite Corpse" is the best one (I personally liked "Drawing Blood" of the ones I have read), so may-be it is time for some Poppy Z Brite reading again for me.

I hope your tooth calms down soon.

Drawing Blood was the first PZB book I read. I'm not sure if I can pick a favorite... I like them all in different ways. :)

And thank you! :)
