Kain's round had already ended some time ago, and he'd spent the remaining time watching the other opponents. He'd still need healing sometime later- he'd managed to draw some energy off his opponent through the Lancet ability, but he was overall worn down. At least by the time the round fully ended he had recovered enough to move around.
Despite how weary he felt, Kain was in a decent mood by his standards. He'd won the round after all. This meant that he still had a chance to win this entire tournament and prove himself. As he made his way along through the crowd, his thoughts were on strategies to win... but then he was distracted by the sight of a certain person.
"...Zell?" Though he knew it had to be him, the dragon being the main giveaway. Kain approached with his eyes fixated on the dragon. There was no doubt in his mind that this was one of Drogon's siblings.
Ah, there he was! Zell gave him a mock salute in greeting, "Yo, Kain! Congrats on your win!"
Glad that he didn't have to go chasing the guy down, he refrained from jogging so as to not jostle the dragon accompanying him. Instead, he headed over so he was a good few feet from Kain. No point in yelling across the stands, right? The dragon with him seemed pleased to see the one with Kain and immediately went to reunite with its sibling. Zell watched a moment, then looked at the dragoon, rubbing the back of his head.
"I was gonna ask you 'bout those two! Guess that kinda answers one of my questions."
the dragon wasn't actually with him, but I assume this could be ok if Dany is nearby?skyboundknightJuly 30 2011, 19:11:54 UTC
Kain glanced toward Drogon as he approached, watching intently as the two dragon siblings reunited. The similarity between the two was even more striking with them both there in person.
"Yes... they're siblings. There are three in total and... the one who they belong to is here as well."
He took a glance around, assuming Dany must be in the area somewhere since Drogon also was.
Sure enough, Daenerys was close, following the small dragon as he skittered along the floor, screeching at people as he passed as though ordering them out of his way. The young woman wasn't very concerned by Drogon deciding to wander off, knowing Kain was nearby to help capture him if it was needed, but she still kept a close eye on where he went anyway, her instincts dictating she not let the young dragon get far from her.
When she reached Kain and the other champion in the tournament, she noticed her other dragon immediately. "You found Viserion!" she said to the knight, then she scooped up Drogon from the ground at Kain's feet and set him on her shoulder. Dany's gaze fell on the younger man and it was neither friendly nor wrathful, but it was clear that she wasn't going to wait very long for her dragon to be released to her. "Who are you?"
