It did not take long to find Loz. In a place where Yazoo had never been, where the people looked vastly different, and the land was cold and unfamiliar, his brother still stood out. They always did. Their striking feline eyes and silver hair were hard to miss. They had grown used to their differences-even took pride in it. After all, it was Mother’s design.

The slender remnant stepped over a white floating sheet (as far as he could decipher) and ignored the screaming children with horrible Halloween masks that ran past him.

“Hello, brother,” Yazoo said smoothly, a small smile wormed its way into the corners of his mouth. It was reassuring to know that at least he was not alone. Now all they had to do was find Kadaj. Yet, Loz’s body language did not go unnoticed. He was angry for one reason or another. Yazoo lolled his head to the side, studying the eldest closely. No doubt he would burst into tears soon and explain the problem.
