The adversarial conversation with Chloe in the flower shop name "White Rose" had been lingered on Barnaby's mind for almost a month. He had to admit that this man with the girly name was not a complete villain, but how he disguised his identity and background in this world really pissed Barnaby off.

Kotetsu was out again for some sort of business, leaving him alone in the hotel with not much entertainment available (bickering counts). It was quite strange that loneliness actually struck him - he haven't felt lonely before, for he was always alone. He was supposed to feel relieved by embracing life without Kotetsu, but strangely it didn't happen.

Anyways... The blond decided to venture to Disney Castle area again, the place where the flower shop was located. On the way to White Rose he saw a weird-looking yet extremely familiar creature flying pass by, carrying a silver crucifix (that looked familiar) and giggling on the way. The scene was as strange as a vampire carrying an onion

This was pathetic… since he had lost sight of the heartless why was he searching for it the hard way? Chloe stopped and looked up at the sky. He had one companion who would always be there to help out…

Barnaby thought the heartless would just continue roaming around to exhaust his stamina, but it was actually the opposite… After about a minute of chasing, the heartless decided to assume the aggressive role, turning around abruptly and began chasing Barnaby back.

The situation made this turnover a few seconds after Chloe witnessed Barnaby with heartless. That was unbearably ugly… and shameful.

“Tsk…” The former hero muttered, hating to be on the passive side. To be honest, he had no experience dealing with heartless whatsoever - who do you even kill ghosts? All experiences he had with these creatures were the time that he was being engulfed, and that was absolutely not helpful.

The universe and the native creatures and the concepts of item shops still conveyed a strong sense of RPG game to Barnaby up to this date. If that was exactly how this world was structured, he needed at least some special weapons or magical powers like Blue Rose’s ice to kill these creatures, and apparently he had none of them. The heartlesses didn’t seem
