She had watched him pilot with veiled interest. While she wasn't entirely aware how they worked, she figured it was best to figure out while she had the chance. If Anakin arrived - when, not if, she reminded herself - he would likely be more excited about figuring out how to work the gummi ships than he would be about seeing her. She'd have to incorporate herself in the ship to get any attention--not that she minded.

When he rose, it drew her from her thoughts, and she did the same. Her cloak was left in the ship, her outfit the same as the one she wore when traveling to Tatooine with Anakin. She'd had clothes made; she needed something familiar to her.

"Thank you, Obi-Wan," she nodded to him as she stepped outside, and already she could smell the sea. She was looking forward to seeing Tidus in person, but even more so to seeing Obi-Wan attempt the sport. And maybe she'd consider doing the same.

Tidus paused practicing Blitzball by himself when he saw the two figures. From the distance, he couldn't be completely sure, but the man's strange hairstyle and the woman looked a lot like...

"Obi-Wan? Padmé?"

Leaning forward, Tidus grinned widely. He hadn't thought they'd visit so soon. He began to run, wet shoes pounding against the sand and dirt. "Yo!" The thought that they may not have been here for Blitzball occured to him, but that didn't mean he couldn't say hi.

For Tidus, saying hi involved throwing his Blitzball as hard as he could right at Obi-Wan while he caught up to the two, still grinning like an idiot. "Hiya. What are you doing here?"

His enthusiasm was a little contagious; Obi-Wan found himself grinning back at Tidus. It turned to mild surprise as the blitzball came flying alarmingly fast at him. He side-stepped it, not wanting to chance getting slammed in the chest by it, and quickly gathered the Force to stop it in mid-air before it went flying too far. With his hand outreached, functioning as a conduit for the Force, he guided the ball back around and tossed it back at Tidus, though with far less force than the other had exerted. An odd way to say hello, but he didn't think too much of it. He'd encountered worse ways, really.

"We came to visit you, actually," he replied. "And I'm especially curious about this blitzball thing you've spoken so highly of."

Padmé had been looking around her at the island, appreciating its beauty. The climate was fair, much like Naboo, and it had a natural beauty that had to be taken in slowly. This would be a nice place to escape to when she needed time to get away.

Hearing her name brought her attention back, and when she saw Tidus she smiled. She didn't wave, but before she could call out to him he threw the Blitzball. She had enough trust in him to be sure that it wasn't directed at her - and, if it was, she had faith Obi-Wan would never let it hit her - so she did not move. But she followed the path of the ball with her gaze, and had to hide her amusement when Obi-Wan began using the Force.

Leave it to the boys to start showing off right away.

"Though Obi-Wan has already proven that he'll be doing a fair amount of cheating," she added, giving the Padawan a look. She remembered Anakin talking about Obi-Wan getting upset about him doing very similar things.

"It's good to finally meet you in person, Tidus."
