The tension in the initial scene and then John's hand-dousing reaction was completely made of win.

Wonderfully characterised, and beautifully written. So much affection and longing and vulnerability between the brothers. And John, as always, taking things in his stride: "Just try and keep the incest to the private bits of the flat, will you?" Great stuff!  :)
