mmk so the first part had to do with me being so excited that my ex-piece of crap clarinet got fixed and a new mouth piece and i got some new tester reeds. the one i was using was too soft and it was a little old. so i tried three different ones: a medium la vas which was actually softer(i can't hit my highest notes with), a 4.5 in Mitchell Lurie(

woah, thats a good problem to have ;) i don't know what to say my only comment would be you seem to get along w/ the pit people really well, and being in drumline you might be a bit split off from them, but yeah people definitely respect the drumline more (altho frankly i don't know why) but yeah, gl w/ that choice!

ha gosh you aren't much help! lol and actually i'm get along with everyone in drumline really well at the moment...even shane and i get along! :O which like never happens.
my thoughts on drumline being more respected is because they are pretty much the backbone of our band. without them we'd fall apart annnnd they really do more than the pit. we aren't as lazy as people think, but it's obvious they do more!
