While I have massive amounts of love for Diddy, I really needed him to stop last night, because he was pushing even my limitations of hype. Making HISTORY! Something NEVER DONE BEFORE (as long as you don't count that time he did the exact same thing last year, shhhhh)!
And yeah, that Mia Michaels Ode to Daddy was touching but not entirely challenging. Of course, I say that even though the whole time I kept expecting one of them to slip on the flowers and fall on their face.
It's always BIGGER! THAN! LIFE! except for the fact that no band actually has any longevity, lol. But I live in hope. I've been missing the five part harmony so maybe these guys will bring it. Plus, Danity Kane looked like they got a much needed makeover from the Clothestime Express. ha! Maybe Diddy finally put some money into them.
What's funny is that her mea culpa on the Good Morning America was supposed to be redeeming. Um. She said she had nerves and couldn't hear the question. Soooo, instead of composing herself and asking for a repeat, she spouts THAT? Weak.
Well, Danity Kane debuted at No. 1 when their album came out last summer. I think they sold 250,000 units. But there's been no real momentum or forward progress. Didnt help that Pussycat Dolls blew up and they were their biggest competition. No other group made so much as a peep. I'm crossing my finger that third times the charm. :p
I'm IN! Whoohoo! Office politics are hilarious. Especially as an observer. I can't wait until my name is linked with the hottie IT guy.
WTF, South Carolina?! I was expecting stupid, I was not expecting to see someone's data chip malfunction. Those weren't even sentences! Jesus. The real funny is in Mario Lopez's face afterwards, b/c he was so obviously trying not to crack up.
I wanted to see more Neil/Sabra. Their 80s boardroom routine was one of my favorites of the season and also the first and *only* time Neil ever had sexual tension with a partner. I think this is partly because Neil is sweet apple pie sunshine, but also because he kept getting paired with dead fish (i.e., Lauren and Jamie).
Mia's flower thing did nothing for me; it didn't even pull at my heart strings. I didn't like the music and the choreography was blah. Definitely not her best work.
Tevas and Birkenstocks are both huge mistakes that have no excuse in civilized society (maybe out in the mountains somewhere). Gross.
I will say that I prefer dress + tank way more than dress + T-shirt. What I'm excited for is dress/skirt + opaque tights.
It's so embaressing! I can't take any pleasure from it b/c it's too cringe-worthy to comtemplate.
OMG the boardroom w/ the table was FABULOUS! Neil's gymnast move and their sharp angles and mimicing made me want to write fanfic. Also! I thought Danny brought out Sabra's sex appeal too. Their number with the pink outfit and all of her leg lifts and sashaying was really hot. Plus, they SO had mutual crushes on one another. Awww.
LOLOLOL @ civilized society. I can hear you say the words which make it funnier.

Question, since I'm not a fan of The Did anymore....have any of these bands from MTB done anything?
And happy hour invites mean you're IN. Congratulations. ;)
