Huge riots in town yesterday after a Unionist march was attacked by some people with nothing better to do. Lots of people injured, and the whole city messed up. I'm glad I stayed at home. Honestly, people confuse me sometimes. "I'm bored today. Why don't we go and beat up some innocent Unionists?"

Confused? I thought that the riot was the most predictable outcome of that parade possible! Even if the people with a valid political reason (as they see it) to oppose the parade hadn't come out against it of course hoodie and celtic top wearing yobbos were going to. I admit the scale of the destruction surprised me, but the fact the riot happened? Not at all.

Not so much the fact that the riot happened, but that people will actually do that sort of thing. And now everyone is arguing that the Unionists were 'provoking attack' by marching. Why were they 'provoking attack'? Because everyone knows what a bunch of scumbags Dublin people can be. Apparently, 'They should've known they'd get baeted up if they marched through Dublin like tha', according to my school class.

What a nice reflection on Dublin people.

Do you know what the Orange Order is about? They are a hateful group of people. They shouldn't have been allowed march in Dublin in the first place.

Oh, yes. That's a different debatable point. But apparently, the reason they shouldn't have been allowed was because it was obvious from the start that the Dubliners would attack them.

Not that that wasn't necessarily what they wanted, of course. Now they have proof that Republicans suck.
