Hurray, my first Avengers fanart is here! It's been ages since I had a chance to draw and it's been a blast to doodle again. This was inspired and dedicated to an amazing Bruce/Tony friendship fic on the Avengers meme where, among many, many other things, the team goes up against a bunch of minotaurs. I mean, Avengers and mythological beasts? WIN

Oh. My. God.

This is amazing! If there were Etruscan Iron Men, this is what they would have on their palace walls. The colors are gorgeous! I love how the gold and red and rust work together, and how the lightning-bolt patterns in the back also suggest the sunshine. It's like a perfect blend of comic and classical art, and I LOVE it more than I can say!

I am also really, really honored that you chose to illustrate something I wrote, which is a fandom first for me. I would have appreciated it regardless, but the fact that its' ALSO a beautiful work of art makes it extra special--which, as it happens, you are, too.

May I link to it when I post the story in its entirety? I think everyone should see it!

Aww, thank you, I'm really glad you like the picture, I had a ton of fun drawing and coloring it. :D I just couldn't resist, there was too much awesomness in your story for me not to put it on paper... ehm, monitor, digital art all all that. :P The only thing missing I think is having Cap bounce his shield off the minotaur's chin (the way its head is tilted is perfect for it XD). Sorry Steve, next time!
