I guess so... I don't really remember my dreams.

Sleepwalking is caused by anomalous activity in the brain during sleep. Normally, during REM sleep -- when dreams occur -- the body is paralyzed to prevent it from moving and enacting whatever desires the dreamer has. For some, this does not occur properly at times, and then the sleeper is able to rise, move about, and take various actions.

...In a sentence, your brain doesn't force you to lie still during sleep. Simply investing in good locks, secure doors, and sealed cabinets will probably solve any dangers involved at night.

[ This is way too much for his tired mind to fully take in, but he nods slowly regardless. ]

I see... Thanks for the advice. Is there any way to prevent sleepwalking completely, though...? I don't know if new locks are in our budget...

There are ways, yes. Certain medications can adjust brain activity to induce standard sleep paralysis. Cybernetics are a more precise way of controlling this activity by directly preventing the anomalies that allow you to walk about.

Those are probably more expensive, huh... What are cybernetics, though? Restraints?

I did end up falling asleep in wet sand... My clothes were matted.

Weirder curses have come and gone so really I wouldn't be surprised.

I guess so... This place combines annoying curses with dangerous ones often enough anyway...

That and everything in between, just another day really.

At least it makes being here a little predictable, in a way... Actually, have you noticed a trend with the curses her? Since you've been here so long...
