Ah, that was easy. Why are you trying to calm that dog down?

[ It takes Tyr a second to realise her voice is coming from his bag - and that's enough to get the dog to give a low growl again. ]

...Almost.

I'm trying to take it home with me, but... It's really in a bad mood.

Oh. Well, maybe it doesn't want to go with you?

[Obvious answer is obvious but it's the first thing she thinks of.]

Probably, but I need to take it whether it wants to come along or not. I wouldn't bother with all this if I had a choice about it.

Uh, Tyr... [Blinks.] What're you doing?

[stargathering]

[ nope not taking the device out!! Even though it switches to video, it's still just a view of the inside of Tyr's bag. In fact, it's just a piece of fabric with paw prints pattern on it. ]

I'm trying to get this guy to relax so I can take it home... It's something I need to do on my own, though.

[startraveling]

I heard a dog growling... [Ted tries to angle his own device just so he'll be able to see Tyr but nope, all he can see is the inside of the bag. Nice print pattern, though.] Are you gonna bring home a pet?

[stargathering]

[ Tyr shakes his head and the dog barks at him. Of course Ted can't see anyway... ]

Not to keep. Just for the day, maybe, to say I caught it and was able to bring it back...

[ Tyr is completely normal. And he's completely serious when he says: ]

Catching a dog... I can't attack it, though.

[ He hopes he hasn't noticed her clothes missing yet... She isn't yelling at him at least. ]

[Lucky for Tyr, she hasn't yet--not that she'd suspect him right off the bat, anyway. But the flurry of activity in the City points pretty obviously to a curse.]

If this is a curse, it's not like it's going to make any sense, but...Why are you trying to catch a dog?

[ So nice. :'< Tyr even thinks this is a curse, though. ]

...It's like a punishment to make up for everything I did before... So I guess it doesn't really make much sense.
