I'd love to join in and rec regularly. Is it possible to take SG1 Gen but then go broad? In other words some character specific, some team?

You're a bit late for this month, but eh, I don't mind squeezing you in. Do I understand that you want to rec with Gen as a category? That would be fine, and yes, as long as the fic is under the gen umbrella, it could fit anything else you want - a specific character, team, ep related, humor, etc.

I'll give you access. Remember the minimum commitment is for two recs this month. I believe the technical maximum is 25. ;) And if you want to make this a monthly thing, I certainly won't complain!

Yep, count me in. Although I like my dabbles in slash and het, I am a GEN girl at heart. Will happily rec as many stories as I can. I do have a couple of questions, though. Can the stories be from any archive, website, etc. or do they have to come from LJ and DW users? Also, is there a particular template you'd like me to use for reccing?

I'm happy to rec SG1 Gen stories every month if you'd like.

The location of the link doesn't matter - LJ, DW, AO3, FF.net, Alphagate, individual website, whatever. The important thing is that readers can get to the story. :) Don't link to a friends-only entry, or a Yahoo mailing list that requires membership to access.

I would be very happy to have you reccing Gen regularly! Experience (both as current owner and my own years as reccer), however, advises that you not write a blank check here. :) melodysparks recs AU for months at a time, but she signs up month by month. So just pop in here in the last days of each calendar month and sign up by the volunteer post. I assure you, it'll be most welcome.
