Well, this is an interesting fix Jack is in. We know he's a colonel so he still leads SG1 ...so detour? Cool. I keep thinking Jack must hate it that everyone knows his business. More please, update soon?

What Jack hates is everyone interfering in his business. Of all of those he encounters, the President is the only one who can override him when it comes to the SGC (other than Hammond)and make it stick. Now, in a way, he's overriding him in his personal life. Very much an 'alpha male' thing and Jack is none too happy about it.
