OK. So you can marvell at my land comm addiction:

I am currently in six landcomms:

startrekland (Engineering)
stargateland (Universe)
scifiland (Villain)
femslash_land (Canon)
fandomverse (Drama)
crimeland (Newly rejoined and now in JJ, when before I was Reid.)

I have previously also been in: jjverse, hogwartsishome, fringeverse, caseland, bigbang_land, starfleet_hq, faeworld, whedonland... that's 8. There may be more, I can't remember.

I like that I try doing new things for them (like making a fanmix or a fanvid) and I quite like the ones where you create new shows and characters and things. Currently working on one of those for stargateland. I have not created a landcomm although I was tempted for a while there to make a Jane Austen themed landcomm. Every now and then I feel like they're taking over my life and I try to cut back and then I get tempted into new and shiny landcomms. Which is why there's so many that I used to be in. XD

startrekland is the only land comm I'm in at the moment, and I hope to keep it that way for a while. I don't think I'll be able to handle any more with my schedule being... my schedule. XD

I typically enjoy the general variety of the challenges we've done (although that latest "episode scramble" challenge made me cry for the first week after it was issued, lol). I think my favorites are the graphic-making and writing challenges. :D

I'm rubbish at scrambles. I can't do them at all. Wordsearches- awesome at those. Those codeword type things (where each letter is a number and you have to work out which is which) I can sometimes do. Scrambles: nope. :)

In the end, I tend to have fun with the scramble challenges, but it's ONLY after I've figured out a way to beat the system and things start going faster. XD Before that it's like trying to figure out how to teach my sister's hamster to sit.

Ugh, sometimes I can't even mention codeword puzzles or el-- *head explodes* ...Oops.

startrekland is my only current landcomm. I'm also in rdjverse, but unfortunately it seems to have died after one round.

I'm very tempted to join others, but I don't think I could handle more than one at a time. At least not with my 20in20 comms as well.

Mu favorite challenges are probably the graphics and puzzle challenges. I'm rubbish at writing so I tend to not do those.

I've never created a landcomm and I'm not real inclined to. I'm already having trouble keeping up with my moderator duties at the various icon communities I run/help run.

That's fair enough. Just being in a landcomm is so much work sometimes, I can't imagine how much work running one must be. :) Which could be why so many die off.
