Because Shalimar's upset I was asking about you and whatever the hell is going on with you two and she ordered me to stay away. I told her that wasn't her decision to make, but apparently that logic is lost on her and she did what she normally does, made assumptions and accusations, and I didn't like that... short version, we re-hashed every discussion and argument we ever had.

...I'm sorry, you don't need any of this, not after that curse. Forget I brought it up, please, and don't mention it to her. I really did just call to see how you were doing and ask if you could use some company?

Maybe I was a little pissed to hear how much of a speciesist you are. You want to hunt? Fine. Then hunt people that are hurting others, hunt monsters in the Underground. Singling out humans? That's wrong. Thomas needs to feed on people? That's his thing to deal with but you're not him.

Being Feral means you're human and animal. You don't have to being completely either. All those other Ferals that went completely animal? Those aren't you, Shalimar. You're different, you're special, and you can either accept the responsibility that comes with that or you can give up on yourself an everyone that believes in you.
