One of my favourite things about other people's birthdays is getting to share the fic! I can't make up my mind who's the cuter here out of Sirius or Remus: it's probably a tie between the former on his very merry high and the latter fondly laughing at him. And of course I love imagining Sirius' normal insouciant suaveness while Remus is the one sat alone with his book.

It's such an incredibly charming scene that I hardly know where to start. Oh hurrayyyyy, I'm so glad you like it! I'm sure when you left that prompt you meant for it to be Remus/Sirius, but that just wasn't where my brain seemed to want to go...so I'm very glad you enjoyed it as a friendship fic, too. :-) As you know, I love thinking about the friendship between these two!
