*sniff* Poor Tonks, and poor Remus, and of course poor Harry. Ugh. And how heartbreaking for Remus to be surprised, after all this time, at Molly's hug...

I really like the relationship between Tonks and Mad-Eye that you've been developing all along, and it certainly shines in this chapter. I'm glad Tonks at least has his support right now, with Remus so busy withdrawing! (Not that I blame him; this is just entirely awful times for everyone all around.)

I'm very glad you're planning to start posting Part Two soon! (Although, I may have to wait to read it until I've at least outlined my own last two HBP chapters, so I don't accidentally osmose any of your ideas, heh.)

(Belated) congratulations on completing all of Part One. A wonderful companion to canon, and a wonderful exploration of the adult characters in the story.
