Have you thought of making yogurt instead of cheese? I have a friend who used to make his own yogurt, and he loved it.
You're the first person I've seen who hasn't fawned all over Wolf Hall. I like that; I like differing perspectives. I saw that it's written in present tense and I kind of cringed a little inside. Present tense is fun in fanfic, but in a novel it can come off as artsy-fartsy in my opinion.

I felt badly not liking Wolf Hall as much as (it seemed) everyone else, but maybe because I am so familiar with the Henry/Anne story, I didn't really get much out of it? I don't know.
