I am so ready for things to change. I want to start over. I want to go somewhere I have never been before and start a new life. The life I have now isn't horrible but I'm not the happiest camper with ASU. I just do not think that a professor should be allowed to miss over 20 days of class, not give any feedback and be considered a great

Its interesting how the academic world stresses that students be on the top of their game, that they study and strain and combat hell and high water in order to come to every class. Yet, the people teaching us can follow their own agenda. My college is fairly good with teacher attendance, but it is their way of lecturing that throws me off. Sometimes I just feel like teaching is just their job, nothing more, and that they lack the energy to reach out and really touch students.

I am just a random reader, and I am new to LJ, so I am sorry if random comments/readers is weird lol. Regardless, I hope that you find a path that makes you happy :)
