Oh my God. ♥ This is probably the most beautiful fic of the I have ever read, and my definite favorite amongst your fics.

But just as you cannot imagine a better end than to die honourably at the hands of someone strong enough to defeat you, I cannot imagine a better end than to die myself at the hands of the same.

I swear I read that line at least 50 times - in my mind, aloud, partially whispering so no one really heard it, not even myself. That line is just so amazing, so beautiful and so heartbreaking.

Your characterization of them both is so accurate it hurts. I loved this, just as I've loved every other of your fics - drabbles, as you could call them, too.

Thank you for sharing them with us. *bows* And this - just glorious. Beautiful, like they are.
