PASS THE PIGS - race 04 - UPDATE

Apr 06, 2008 08:09

Aha. Completely miscalculated how fast two pigs could pass through 14 people living in different timezones.

In the spirit of giving everyone a chance to earn more cards/stamps/I am not doing a tour like this for a looooong time I'm extending the GREED TOUR by another 24 hours. Huzzah!

pass the pigs, spontaneous, !games

At this speed it looks like there'll be a slim chance of the pigs getting passed twice :B Here's to hope \o/ Hurray for extensions~

I'm a math teacher (in certification only...). You wouldn't believe how fascinating this is to watch.

How long has it been already?

Two people haven't even gotten the pig once yet. ): I hope everyone at least gets the pig once!

Well, we've already had more passes than usual. It's just that we have a lot more players this time.

This is the second day - 44 and a half hours. I'm hoping everyone at least has a chance to pass A pig. *sobs in corner*

Yeah, definitely the players. I didn't realize adding on two or three more would make it so much longer! But it must be the timezones, or something...

...I am this close to sitting down and graphing this out, but I don't have enough data...

Ah, not much time left then if you hadn't extended it. ):

...graphing it out...how? Like...the times between passes? Or how the number of players affects the race?

14 players...that's probably enough to split into two teams. Maybe if we have that many players next time again for a race like this, we could split into a black pig team and a white pig team?

Number of players. At first it didn't make too much sense when the first two races were finished...really fast, but now that we have twice as many players I wonder how much more time we need for an ideal race.

It probably is! I'm thinking about doing that later; next race is going to be a regular one, though. Don't like inundating people with "SPECIAL SPECIAL SPECIAL" when some should know what a normal race is like.
