Kanda is a shy sensible man, but the world musn't know it, that's why he goes to those hardcore missions and tries to play the badass role.

Meanwhile, being him away, Lavi and Lenalee are allowed to use his bedroom as the cheapest and safest love hotel (because, I mean, who in their right mind would dare to get in Kanda's room while he is away?)
