Dear City,

Welcome to the wonderful world of telepathy. A few things to keep in mind from someone who lives with this every day.

Good advice, although I'm sure even mentioning 'the worst things' probably brought out all sorts of secrets in people. I'm sure it would happen, regardless.

I decided long ago that I didn't want anything to do with telepathy, if I could help it. But I imagine it's easier to deal with if it only activates when you want it to.

Everyone's going to think what they're going to think, like any curse day, this one just gets a lot more embarrassing.

It is, but even most telepaths will tell you there's always something that they hear. A hum, like voices in a large crowd.

True. I bet lots of people'll think of all sorts of things that don't usually come up, even.

Ah, I imagine even that gets annoying. I was lucky enough to miss this curse entirely, it seems.
