I suppose I should clarify this comment:  "I have come to the conclusion that the media is the new Leper, and the quality of sacred distance applies."  I don't mean to insinuate that this is the role the media plays in society, but rather that I see a way that this quality of sacred distance can be most effectively applied in an effort to "dwell" in a space that cultivates self-knowledge and uses critical thinking.
