The case against Israel

The goal of the state of Israel is Palestinian genocide.  You can argue with me about this, but you’d be wrong.  This is not my opinion.  This is a quantifiable, observable, completely obvious fact of reality.  If you support Israel, even to say that the state of Israel has the “right to exist,” you also support the genocide of the Palestinian ( Read more... )

"they live in a democracy, they are therefore ALL culpable in the crimes of their government.

Even the ones who voted for Hadash or any of the other Arab parties in Israel? Or how about the Muslim citizens of Israel who don't vote at all?

I'd say that, if you're ideologically committed to democracy, you're responsible for the government. Even if the government is illegitimate or itself un-democratic, in a democracy the onus is on the people to change that. If they do not, they are negligent. The buck stops, ultimately, with The People. I suppose I would exclude those who are not ideologically committed to democracy from that judgement, however. Good point there.
