Baby names

I'm not sure this post belongs in this community but it is something between me and my husband so here it is.

I just gave birth and we can't agree on baby names. We've been discussing about it for 24 hours straight.
So, for those of you who have children, how did you decide on the names?
And if you couldn't agree, who had the final say?

no one gets the "final say" unless you want your partner to feel resentment over something that should be happy and fun and the furthest from resentment. Don't start this life out this way.

Have him or you come up with several names that you can live with. And then have the other person choose from that list. Or choose a family members name. or choose nnames based on their meanings, not on the way they sound. If you are really at odds, find a name that means "Peaceful Resolution" or "Truce". (o:
