I've always had a soft spot for Christmas carols. I mean, if you've ever been in the car with me, it's always me insisting on the channel that starts playing them November 1st while everyone around me is groaning and changing it back to the alt rock station

I actually recently made a comment on Kristen's journal about the utter amazingness of Christmas in New York, with the smell of wood burning while you're walking home, the skating rink at Rockefeller Center, the Christmas decorations in Bloomgingdale's, the Christmas trees lit up all along Park Avenue at night. I love it.
This time of year is perfect, too. It's cold enough to be dressed in cute sweaters and vests and boots, but it's warm enough to not have to be bundled up under a pea coat. And who says anything about only drinking hot chocolate during the winter? I drink it literally all year round.
Tis the season.

Sorry, don't mean to sound so picky there. I'm really not that bad about it, which is probably a little hard to believe but it's true. I'm used to it by now. :)
But yes - Christmas in New York sounds amazing. :)

Squeeeeee! I think I have met my Christmas-soulmate. I mean, the whole humming Christmas carols and the lights and especially Love Actually! That's me every Christmas. (Well, at least since Love Actually came out).
And you just summarized the whole seasons thing for me too. In fact, you summed up just about everything in this comment. I <3 this comment.

Wheee! And it was all chilly outside today, and the trees were looking very bare. So I started thinking about Christmas. I can tell I'll be dreaming about it soon. :) And Love Actually... mmmm.
♥ And I just read the second chapter of After Storm. (Or is that one word?) And. Wow.

i'm kinda upset we switched seats in German...i'm not near you or anybody i like...nick has to walk from his seat, 5 people away so that we can be partners...@ least i'm in the back corner lol
it doesn't matter if you get tired of christmas by the end...the joy of it all is getting to that state...if we enjoyed it all year round...then it wouldn't be fun...
